What is Whispi?
Whispi is a Q&A platform where you can ask questions without showing who you are and answer the anonymous questions sent to you. You share your profile link, questions arrive, and you answer the ones you like.
Can I see who asked a question?
No. The asker's identity is hidden from you and from anyone browsing your profile. They stay anonymous in follow-up messages too.
Who can write follow-up messages, and who sees them?
Only the person who asked can ask a follow-up, and only you answer it; one follow-up waits at a time. It stays between the two of you until you answer it; then the question and your answer are published together on your profile. You can end a conversation: no new follow-up can be asked, and the published ones stay. This can't be undone. You can turn follow-ups off entirely in settings; you can still answer the one that is waiting.
Can I get notifications on my phone or computer?
Yes. Turn on "Push notifications on this device" under Settings > Notifications and new questions, answers and follow-up questions reach you even when Whispi isn’t open. You choose which events come, quiet hours and whether the question text shows. While Whispi is open the same notification doesn’t arrive twice.
Can my answers be deleted automatically?
Yes. On each answer you can pick a time from 30 minutes up to 1 day. When it runs out, the answer and its follow-up messages are deleted permanently.
What can I do if someone bothers me?
You can block the asker or report the message. A blocked person can't ask you questions or write follow-ups.
How do I use broadcast mode on a live stream?
Open broadcast mode from your inbox and questions flow across a big screen live. Add the overlay link to OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio as a browser source and the questions you spotlight show up on top of your stream.
Will my profile show up on Google?
That's up to you. Turn off the search engine option in your privacy settings and your profile and answers won't be listed on search engines like Google.
Can I download my data or delete my account?
Both are in settings. You can download your profile, answers and the questions you asked as a .zip file. When you delete your account your content is permanently removed and your username can be taken by someone else after 30 days.
