Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies and which do we use?

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use two kinds: strictly necessary cookies that make the site work (session, guest identity, security, language and theme preference, your cookie choice) and analytics cookies that measure how the site is used (Google Analytics).

2. Cookie list

Below you can see the cookies the site uses, what they do, how long they stay and who sets them.

3. Analytics cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to improve the site. Google Analytics is a third-party service provided by Google; usage data such as the pages you visit, device and browser details and approximate location may be processed on Google's servers, including outside your country. We do not send message content, email addresses or usernames; if you are signed in, only a random ID belonging to your account is sent. Analytics cookies are on by default and can be turned off at any time on the Cookie Preferences page.

4. Advertising

We do not use advertising cookies and do not share your data with anyone for advertising. The ads shown on the site use no cookies and do not identify you. Google Analytics' advertising features are always off on the site.

5. Similar technologies

Some small pieces of information are kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) instead of cookies: the email address you entered while signing up, your recent searches, whether you have shared your profile, and a short-lived note that lets a sign-in be counted correctly in analytics. They stay on your device and are removed when you clear your browser data.

6. Changing your preferences

You can turn analytics cookies on or off on the Cookie Preferences page; if you are signed in, your choice is also saved to your account and applies in your other browsers. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off. You can also delete all cookies in your browser settings; in that case you will be signed out and your preferences will be reset.
